Wine Spots

There is nothing better than sitting on a patio and enjoying a glass of Ohio wine. Did you know  have a pretty long wine history, dating as back as 1804 when Nicholas Longworth moved to Ohio and began producing sparkling Catawba wine grown from grapes he planted in the Ohio River Valley. There are incredible wineries spread throughout Ohio. With that being said, a few of my favorites are right here in and around Columbus! Camelot Cellars is right near Downtown Columbus, in Olde Town East. You can make your own wine there, enjoy a private tasting or join them for a comedy night. Not too far down the street is Brother’s Drake Meadery. Go online and schedule the tour. It is very informative + you get s spoonful of the best hunny you’ll ever taste! East of Columbus, you’ll find Hidden Lakes Winery. They have one of my favorite wine tastings (try the slushies). Added bonus is their fabulous patio!  Listed below are a few winery spots, with a few wine shops added in. Cheers! 🍷
