We had such a good time visiting the sunflower field at The Tecumseh Land Trust, just north of Yellow Springs. Each year, thousands of sunflowers bloom and cover several acres of lands – attracting bees and people from all over the place! It was a sight to see.๐ผ๐The flowers usually stay in bloom for about 2 weeks, showing their pretty faces around the second week in September. ย It is free to visit. They plant the flowers for the community to enjoy. However,ย when you visit, you can donate.
As always, remember you are not supposed to pick the gorgeous flowers! It is sad to hear that people do not follow the rules and do so. They do have a parking lot. It has one way in and one way out, meaning their will be traffic. When sitting in traffic, try to remember how gorgeous the flowers and all the hard work they do to provide us with them!ย
