Pingree Park: The Low-Key Gem of Worthington for Endless Outdoor Fun

Update: This blog post is originally from 2016, but all things are still true – especially heading to Graeters post park visit. I did add a few pictures of the girls first trip there in June 2020.

Looking for a fun, low-key park that you can visit again and again? Look no further than Pingree Park in Worthington! This local gem has been a favorite of ours for years, and it’s easy to see why. With two playgrounds, picnic tables, open green space, a basketball court, and even an artificial climbing rock, there’s something for everyone here.

Even better, Pingree Park is a great place to get creative and come up with new games and activities each time you visit. And if you need a break, just head up the street to Graeters for some sweet treats and a much-needed bathroom break.

While Pingree Park may not have all the bells and whistles of some of the fancier parks out there, it’s a tried-and-true classic that’s perfect for families looking to have some fun and make lasting memories. So pack a picnic, grab the kids, and head to Pingree Park for a day of outdoor adventure!

Address: 374 Pingree Dr., WorthingtonOH  43085

Pingree Park provides a parking lot that accommodates 10-12 vehicles. However, please note that there are no restroom facilities available on site.

Check out these photos from our June 2020 visit to Pingree Park – it was my daughters’ first time there, and it was just as great as I remembered! One thing I especially appreciated was the smaller playground area designed for toddlers. However, I will note that there are only two swings for younger children, so my daughter had to make do with the “big kid” swing (which she handled like a champ).

Guess there will always be one sister doing something funny in a picture. Today, it was Harper.

We’re big fans of all the parks in Worthington and can’t wait to create even more special memories at each of them!
