Oddfellows Brunch

Oddfellows in the Short North is one of my favorite spots in the city. I don’t think its just one thing that draws me in. Its the combination of the decor which includes a historic back bar manufactured in Cincinnati in 1906 and a bottle cooler from the late 1930s, a long list of unique cocktails, the rad people who work there and the bombtastic brunch they serve on the weekends. Every time we visit, we walk out thinking bout the next time we are able to go.

If you know anything  about me, you know that I love brunch– by far my most favorite meal of the day. If I could brunch every day, I would. It combines the necessary breakfast first meal hype with the socializing that comes along with lunch. It’s genius. Plus, its socially acceptable to start morning drinking. Oddfellows has one of my favorite brunches (if not my favorite) in Columbus. For just $8, you get to indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet. Stop! Stop thinking “Ewww buffet? The food probably sucks!” The food IS AMAZING. SO GOOD! I love that they offer a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, too. On top of incredible food, they have a bloody mary bar and $14 bottomless mimosas (bottle of champagne and OJ).

Next door to the Short North location of Late Night Slice.

This is not a joke. It only costs $8. Best deal ever.

Bloody Mary Bar

They always have the most creative drinks.

“Hot” Chocolate Lushie: Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Cocoa Powder, Almond Milk and Mini Marshmallows. Sounds like it could be gross. It’s not. It is amazing.

Bottomless Mimosas. Kind of. For $14, you get a bottle of champagne and OJ. SUCH A GOOD DEAL!!

The food is set-up at the front of the bar.

The biscuits were delicious. Toppings were similar to an everything bagel. Paired perfectly with the vegan gravy.

Flatbread!

The gingerbread french toast was delicious, so were the garlic and rosemary potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly!

Vegan bread and vegan gravy. Well, it started vegan friendly, until my husband put bacon and sausage on top! LOVED the gravy – light and packed with tons of flavor.

One of the options was to make your own sandwich. They had everything out – mayo, tomato, lettuce, condiments, bacon, sausage and more. My husband decided to add everything on top, including potatoes and quiche! I have to admit, it was QUITE TASTY!
