Edible Landscaping
Learn how planting fruits, herbs, and vegetables can create a deliciously beautiful yard with Tim McDermott from Ohio State University Extension, Franklin County.

Intro to Spring Gardening
Join Tisa Watts, Columbus Garden Coach for this FREE class! Are you new to gardening or just looking for a “refresher” to prepare for spring? Learn how experienced gardeners anticipate seasonal change and simplify their gardening tasks. We’ll discuss how to make good plant choices based on your needs (low-maintenance, edible garden, kid’s play area, etc.). Then we’ll complete a gardening checklist so you have a customized action plan for spring! New gardeners are especially welcome!

How Does Your Garden Grow? Ask a Master Gardener
Bring your gardening questions and join OSU Master Gardeners for a unique learning opportunityat our Hannah Park Community Gardens. Companion plants, crop rotation, soil building common pests. Each month a free new lesson will be presented followed by a Q&A session.

Check out Franklin Park Conservatory if you are looking for series of classes. They have fantastic programs. I would suggest “Basic Garden Design” if you are serious! It is a four week course that teaches you the basic design principles to create your own landscape plan.
