Can we all agree Summer in Columbus is the best when it comes to the number of activities that are going on?! Most weekends, it’s hard to choose because there are just that many.
One of my favorite things to do with my previous nanny kiddos (and now with my girls) is grab a blanket and picnic, then head to the closest outdoor music concert! While there are a ton of family friendly music events, the events listed below are directly for the kids! They’re happening during the morning/afternoon and they’re pretty much a huge dance party. So much fun!
Lolli-Pops – Powell
Grab your blankets and dancing shoes and get ready for a morning of fun music. These interactive concerts promise miles of smiles from kids and parents alike, so get ready for a toe-tappin’, rip-roarin’ good time!

PB & Jazz
PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park concerts are free and follow family story time at 11 a.m. in the main branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket. The noon concert will conclude with a hands-on art activity, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., presented by the Columbus Museum of Art.
