Jacquemin Farm is perfect for toddler ages. They have a barn with two corn boxes, a small maze and two slides. Perfect for a morning or afternoon of fun. Check out our visit from last week.

Any Day – Visit DeMoneyes Green House
This is one of my most favorite events in October! The entire greenhouse is filled with fun things, such as corn filled play areas, a bounce house, making a popcorn filled witch hand, pumpkin picking, farm animals and a straw maze. While we haven’t been this year, I think I have gone every year since they first started it!

Any Day – Explore the Nature Center at Highbanks Metro Park
Highbanks Nature Center is one of our favorite spots to visit all year round. hey have puppets, coloring pages and puzzles. A library filled with nature-themed books. Turtles, snakes and fish for you to see. Binoculars to help you see the birds soaring around outside of the center. Free nature-inspired events happening throughout the week.

Tuesday – Open Gym at The Jungle Gym Adventure Center
Open gym allows visitors and members to practice on any and all of the equipment. Rock climbing is open, weather permitting. The open gym is supervised, but there is no instruction!

Tuesday and Thursday – Open Play at Central Park Playland
Central Park offers free playtime in a gated play area! They have one main playground with tunnels and slides. I would say your kiddo would need to be a decent climber, as there really isn’t an easy access point for parents to help. I haven’t been in a few years, but last time they had a small step 2 play area for smaller kids, coloring sheets and a climbing wall.

Tuesday – Storytime at Ikea with Delaware County library
Head Ikea for stories, snacks, and crafts with the Delaware County Library. After, make sure to explore the aisles (it can be so fun with kids) and grab lunch in their cafeteria.

This drop-in program in the Community Center gym is a wonderful opportunity to network with other parents as your child makes new friends. Parents provide supervision for this program.
