It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year – Girl Scout cookie time. There is just something about those little cookies that just bring so much joy and I don’t know what it is about those girl scouts, but they are queen sales people. I always end up with boxes and boxes and boxes in our freezer. Not that I am complaining or anything!
Now, over the years, I’ve notice a trend starting to happen, as if we needed another reason to enjoy these little bites of heaven. Local businesses are creating pairings between cookies and booze and let me tell you, there are fewer things I love more in life than an excuse to drink wine. One of those things is an excuse to eat cookies. So, an evening that includes both, well, that just goes to the top of the list!
Here are a few happening around town and if you’d rather eat/drink at home, at the end, I’ve got the details on where to pick up or your wine and how to order your cookies online.

If you aren’t able to make an event or maybe you want to host your own tasting, check out this pairing I found on Pinterest, created by a former troop leader.
Also, you’re going to need wine and cookies. For wine, I suggest heading to Meza Wine Shop in Westerville as they offer a selection of over 600 wine labels from around the world in every price range! For cookies, head online to Ellie’s Cookie World or Izzy’s Cookie World, both local to Columbus!
Tip: I suggest watching Troop Beverly Hills while eating your cookies and drinking your wine.
