Manic Mondays at Star Lanes

I love bowling. I took the girls to Manic Monday at Star Lanes this week and we had a BLAST!

Bowling is super fun for all ages, and while I say that, I will admit that I did bring the girl’s tablets when we went bowling for the first time on Monday. I wasn’t sure how it would go, if everyone would be interested or if it would be complete chaos. With no real idea, I was pleasantly surprised. The girls LOVED it and were anxiously waiting their turn the entire time. They have bowling helper things (official name?), so they don’t swing the ball; they push it down. It was super cute because Emerson started to line hers up to where she wanted the ball to go. It was loud with the music and the pins knocking down, which usually bothers E/H, but it didn’t seem to. They loved having dance parties the entire time.

Overall, a BIG win. Plus, the price on Manic Monday is excellent. It was $26 for an hour of bowling with shoes. Make sure you come hungry because their food is legit.

Something very unique about Star Lanes is that they have HyperBowling. What is it?! Well, first, it makes the game SO FUN. It brings together a hi-tech blend of software, futuristic user interfaces, lights and sensors to deliver a never-before-seen experience that plays like a physical video game on a bowling lane. The perfect combination of thrilling competition and exciting elements!

I didn’t take very many pictures, but here is a reel that I made of our super fun day!

On top of bowling, they have a TON of other fun attractions.

  • Game Room
    • They have over 60 games, with a blend of the latest motion-simulator video games, challenging redemption-prize games, and rewarding instant-win skill games.
  • XD Dark Ride
    • Major theme park style interactive 4D theater
  • OMNI Arena
    • The future of gaming! Fully immersed in VR where you walk, run, crouch, kneel, jump, strafe, and back up in 360 degrees in the metaverse. They have 7 exclusive games.
  • Billiards & Ping Pong

I didn’t do the XD last visit with the girls, but I have done it before and it was fun. Totally worth trying it out.

This is from our visit back in 2019. Star Lanes is perfect for girls day, too.

The games were not very younger kid friendly, but the girls did have fun with a few! I can’t wait to go back for date night and play a few more.

Make sure you come hungry because their food is legit. They have a wide variety, from full entrees to shareable provisions and ready-to-eat bites. I LOVE the soft pretzels – they’re served with a trio of dipping sauces: Pepper jack queso, jalapeño aioli, and yellow mustard. All delicious. Make sure you get a side of fries because they’re perfect down to the last fry. They’re thick-cut and seasoned with Parmesan. You can view the full menu here. If you’re thirsty, they have a FULL bar. Check out the HH down below.

Didn’t take any pictures of the food because I was balancing having three toddlers bowl and making sure they didn’t eat all the pretzels. ha.
