Night at the Museum: Explore Ohio History Center After Hours

Inspired by the popular movie franchise, Night at the Museum is the perfect way to experience the Ohio History museum after hours and see whether their exhibits really do come to life!

Night at the Museum returns to Ohio History Connection on
March 2, 2024 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Here’s your chance to experience the Ohio History Center museum after hours and see whether our exhibits really do come to life! This family event promises to entertain children and adults alike. Dozens of different characters will be roaming the museum, and you can learn all about their unique place in Ohio history. Grab an autograph book (provided) and collect the signatures from your favorites! Several hands-on activities for kids will also be available. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

What to expect at the event:

  • Talking to vintage baseball players
  • Acting in a 1920s-era silent film 
  • Meeting soldiers from the Civil War
  • Helping a Tuskegee airman find his plane
  • Several hands-on activities for kids will also be available.

Tickets are a must for this event and should be purchased in advance. You can conveniently purchase them here. There are two entry times, at 7 PM and 7:30 PM. If you are a member of the Ohio History Connection, you have the privilege of arriving early, between 6 PM and 7 PM. The event continues until 9 PM.
