Wednesdays just got a lot more exciting. On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month through October 21st, the Polaris Farmers Market is pairing its usual lineup of local produce, meat, cheese, and baked goods with free movie nights on the green, giving you the perfect excuse to shop local and unwind in the middle of the week.

One thing to know: these are also the final four market days of the 2026 season, so it’s your last stretch to shop the Polaris Farmers Market before it wraps for the year.
Where and When
- The market sets up at The Galaxy at Polaris, 8770 Galaxy Way, Columbus, OH 43240.
- Quick heads up: market hours are shifting to 5-8pm for September and October, so plan your shopping trip accordingly. Movies kick off on the green around 6:15-6:30pm, once there’s enough dusk to see the screen.
2026 Movie Lineup
- Wednesday, September 2 – The Sandlot
- Wednesday, September 16 – The Sheep Detectives
- Wednesday, October 7 – TBD, audience vote
- Wednesday, October 21 – TBD, audience vote
Grab a blanket or a couple of chairs, get your shopping done first, then settle in on the green once the sun starts going down. Remember, it’s every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, not weekly, so mark your calendar.

How to Make an Evening of It
Come early enough to actually shop. That’s the beauty of pairing it with the market. Pick up produce for the week, grab dinner from one of the food vendors, and then post up on the lawn for the movie. It’s a solid way to knock out errands, support local and still get a fun, low-key night out with the family.
The two October movie nights are still up for a vote, so keep an eye on the market’s Instagram and Facebook if you want a say in what plays. Follow @polarisfarmersmarket for updates, voting and any weather-related changes.
