Summertime in Columbus is all about the outdoors. From Columbus Commons summer concert series to music festivals to kid-friendly concerts in Powell, there is a way for everyone to enjoy live outdoor music all over town – surprisingly enough, a lot of them are FREE. Here are a few fun, outdoor spots to enjoy our fabulous music scene!
Kids Concert on the Green with Mr. Eric

Pack a picnic and bring your kiddos for a fun and free afternoon concert, including crafts from the Worthington Library.

“Soak up some sun and have some fun!” This is the motto for Summer in the 614. This annual event will be nothing short of amazing. There will be family friendly activities, games, food vendors and much more! Live music will take place on the Northwest Green, including The George Barrie Band, Buzzard Kings and The Floorwalkers.

Columbus Commons will host some of the greatest local bands, including The Spikedrivers and The Floorwalkers. Along withlive music, there will be an open-air marketplace and food trucks!
Lolli-Pops! Summer Children’s Concert Series

We love this event! Each month your kiddos can dance a long to a different children’s artist. Make sure to bring a blanket, lunch and swimsuits for the splash pad!

A weekend long festival showcasing some incredible music! Bring a blanket, sit down and enjoy as many bands as you can! This is a free event.
Westerville Music & Arts Festival

Where: Uptown Westerville on July 8th. Heritage Park on July 9th & 10th.
There will be live entertainment on two stages at the festival. [16 & under are free, $1 admission for all others]

Moving to The Scioto Mile this summer, the festival brings us three days of continuous jazz by renowned international and local musicians!
