I didn’t think it was possible, but we stumbled

I didn’t think it was possible, but we stumbled upon a playground that’s truly one-of-a-kind! 🙌🏽 If you’ve got older kiddos, this park is a winner, but it’s pretty cool for the little ones too. My girls absolutely adored it!

📍 Sunbury United Methodist Church, 100 W. Cherry St.

The play structures here cater to all skill levels and are so much fun! The main play set features multiple slides, climbers, monkey bars, and interactive panels for endless imaginative play. And that’s not all – there’s also a merry-go-round, swings, teeter-totter, massive netted climbing structure, netted swing, spring riders, and a zipline that’s out of this world!

Oh, and don’t even get me started on the Ninja Warrior Course – it’s every older kid’s dream come true. And that zipline? Epic doesn’t even begin to describe it – it’s one of the longest ones I’ve ever seen! 🤩

👀 No shade + mulch, but those were probably the only downfalls that I saw.

Spent the morning at the @vintagemarketdayscentralohio and had an absolute blast! ✨ It’s the perfect way to spend a weekend, especially with this gorgeous weather. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on the fun! ☀️

The event runs all weekend, so there’s still plenty of time to join in. They’re open until 4 PM today, 10-4 tomorrow, and 10-3 on Sunday. Be sure to snap a selfie at the theme wall for FREE unlimited re-entry!

My sister turned 18 this week 🥺🫶🏽🤯, which meant we needed a delicious cake. Of course we went with the Strawberry Cake from @goldendelight.bethel. We usually get the round cake, but is it weird to say it tasted even better in rectangle form!? lol. The square cut was perfect. 🍓🍓🍓

One of my favorite places to walk at is Walnut Woods @cbusmetroparks.

The park features 1,458 acres of woodlands and fields, bordered by Walnut Creek to the north. The Tall Pines Area features dramatic stands of pines and sweetgum trees, and the Buckeye Area has long rows of old nursery trees such as serviceberry, crab apple and red maples. The Tall Pines area (pictured) is my favorite!! It feels magical! ✨

Guess who’s made their grand entrance in Columbus? Yep, it’s @hanksseafoodcolumbus! ✨ If you’ve ever strolled through Charleston, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’d only heard whispers of its magic until last night. They’ve nestled themselves in a prime spot downtown, right at High & Gay.

The place is a sight to behold with a lounge, bar, dining room, patio and even a cozy private dining area in the back. The warm and cozy ambiance makes you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. And let me tell you about the staff—total gems, super friendly and accommodating. 🫶🏽

Now, let’s talk about the food. 🤤 We went all out and sampled a bit of everything. My personal favorites? The Seared Sea Scallops with Rainbow Swiss chard and that divine tomato-bacon vinaigrette, the Shrimp & Grits with smoked andouille sausage, tomato jus, creamy stone ground grits and of course, the iconic Charleston, She Crab Soup with lump crab and aged sherry. But honestly, everything was a flavor explosion. Oh, and you can’t forget about the seafood tower—it’s so fun to share with the table!

Their cocktail game? On point. 👏🏽 Inside list is full of creative twists on classics. The Cool INSIDE with bubbles, aperol, and strawberry cordial, along with the Early Harvest featuring jalapeño mezcal and green tomato water, were both absolute winners—refreshing and oh-so-good.

This place strikes the perfect balance between casual and classy—it’s ideal for a spontaneous nice dinner out or a romantic date night. Columbus is lucky to have them! 🩷🩷🩷

And guess what? They were fearless! 😱 Didn’t even flinch in the dark spots - too busy being little explorers! 🚀 They were totally hooked within the first five minutes. It was the cutest thing ever watching how excited they were. I thought that because it is a bit dark in places, they might be scared, but not at all - the LOVED it. LIKE OBSESSED. It’s pretty hands-on and tons of fun tunnels and secret passage type of things for them to crawl through. They were super interested in all of the artwork and loved the glowing aspects of everything. They are already asking to go back! 👽👽
