5/3 Powell Touch-A-Truck

Enjoy a day of climbing, pretending and touching different kinds of vehicles at the annual Powell Touch–A–Truck event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 3. Dozens of vehicles will fill the area of the City’s Municipal Building Parking Lot, 47 Hall Street. This event also does double duty by educating youngsters about various aspects of the vehicles, such as their size, function and more

5/4 Polaris – Military Appreciation

Join Sunny 95, Mr. Sunny and all of your favorite BIG Military Vehicles will be at Polaris Fashion Place. There will be trucks and vehicles of all sizes  from the National Guard, Air Force, US Army and Marines – EOD vehicles, Hum-Vs, Air-Flight Simulators and more will be there! Bring the whole family for cool military vehicles and programs, cold treats from the Sunny 95 Treat Truck, prizes and fun!

5/11 Pickerington Touch-A-Truck

Bring your kids to enjoy a variety of big trucks, cars, engines and more.  You will be able to get up close to check out the big tires, ask questions about what each vehicle does, test the driver’s seat and even get your own driver’s license.

5/17 Hilliard Touch-A-Truck

Bring the kids to see, touch and explore their favorite vehicles: fire truck, police car, bus, dump truck and more. There will also be crafts and SuperGames inflatables to enjoy!

5/17 Worthington Touch-A-Truck

The 8th Annual Touch a Truck is a unique and interactive event that allows children to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite big trucks and heavy machinery, as well as to meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build the Worthington community. Over 40 vehicles will be on display, along with a variety of other children’s activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Food Drive! Please bring a canned or non-perishable food item to help us “Stuff the Truck” for the Worthington Food Pantry.

8/18 New Albany

Touch-a-Truck is an event established by the New Albany Public Service Department for our kids and the kid that still lives within all of us. This event will put your little ones behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles including fire engines, police cars, snow plows, leaf collection trucks, street sweepers, trash trucks, hauling trucks and even the sewer camera truck.  Kids will also get to rub elbows and ask questions to police officers, firefighters and public service department personnel. Other activities include Ident-a-Kid, the New Albany Police Department’s child identity program through pictures and child fingerprinting.

Worthington Touch-a-truck 2014! My nanny kiddos and I LOVED going to these events. First of all, they’re FREE. Second, it is a great way to teach your kids about safety (in a fun way).
Worthington Touch-a-truck 2016, right after the helicopter had landed! The kids love that part because it gets VERY windy! Pro tip: Make sure you hold onto your stroller!!!
