Urban Meyer + Pint House + Bridge Park. Literally three of my most favorite things in Columbus.
This Fall, we’re in for a real treat. Meyer and Chris Corso (Corso Ventures, think Forno, Goody Boy Diner, Standard Food Hall) have teamed up to bring us the second location of Pint House. If you haven’t been before, you’re in for a real treat. Not sure what their exact plans are for the second location, but their Short North location is home to delicious (elevated, made-from-scratch) pub grub, a retractable sun roof, bier garden, and dozens of TV’s- catch every live game there is.
Word on the street is, they will be including an expanded menu featuring favorites from many existing Corso Ventures restaurants. Hopefully that means they’re brining Forno’s HH to the project. ๐
โWhen Corso Ventures approached me with this unique opportunity to partner with their elite restaurant and hospitality team on a Pint House in Bridge Park, it was a no brainer,โ said Urban Meyer, former Head Coach of The Ohio State Buckeyes. โNot only does Urban Meyerโs Pint House allow me to stay attached to the central Ohio community, but it will also make the perfect space to host events supporting our foundation.โ
Pint House will take over the current RAM location, which has recently left the Columbus market. This means the space will be DOUBLE the size (8,500 SF) as the Short North location, which is already pretty big. Currently, the space offers a large interior seating and kitchen area and an indoor/outdoor patio bar that overlooks Bridge Park Avenue.
Inside, you will find all things Buckeyes, including Urbanโs 7-0 room, a private event space commemorating Urbanโs record against the University of Michigan. The room will showcase many of the awards, trophies and special memorabilia that he acquired over his career.
I am excited to see the renovations that will take place of the current space — expecting BIG things!
This is just another reason to love Bridge Park, which is already home to amazing spots like VASO Rooftop Lounge, Condado, Hen Quarter, Fukuryu Ramen and recently announced, the second location of North Market set to pen in Spring 2020.
Now the countdown begins……
