The Topiary Park of Columbus
The art park is a recreation in topiary of, A Sunday Afternoon of the Isle of La Grande Jatte, by Georges Seurat. This is the only topiary interpretation of a painting in existence! The landscape consists of 50 topiary people, 8 boats, 3 dogs, a monkey, a cat, a real pond and trees.

Walk the Storybook Trail at Alum Creek
Storybook Trail is a 1/2 mile long trail that brings books to life for children to learn while exploring the outdoors. Along the trail, you’ll come across 16 signs that lay out the story “In the Trees, Honey Bees!” by Lori Mortensen, chosen by the students of Alum Creek Elementary School. On the signs, you’ll also find facts, questions and other interactive ideas (buzzzzing like a bee, talking about things at home, making up your own bee dance, etc.)

It is located near the north side of Alum Creek Start Park Beach. If you turn off of Lewis Center Rd. where the sign says “beach to the left” — follow the road to beach. If you’re facing the swing set, you’ll see the entrance to the left. There is a ton of free parking.

Find the Minions in Grove City
The Grove City Minion® Hunt is back! They’ve added three new minions to the hunt this year! Bring family or friends to experience the festive, fall atmosphere of Grove City’s historic Town Center.

2. Hunt for 10 strategically placed Minions® throughout the historic Town Center.
3. Complete the card with the location of each Minion®.
4. Drop off the completed entry card to Visit Grove City or the Grove City Parks and Recreation Office, Kingston Center, to receive a prize.
Visit Grove City is open weekdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and the Kingston Center is open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. To receive a prize, completed cards should be turned in no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1.

Visit the Circleville Pumpkin Show
The Circleville Pumpkin Show started in 1903 and is known as one of the greatest pumpkin festivals there is. The show covers more than 8 city blocks and are filled with 25-30 Amusement Rides and over 300 Food Booths, Games & Craft Vendors. You’ll see giant pumpkins, the world’s largest Pumpkin Pie, parades, entertainment, attractions, and there will be various pumpkin-flavored delicacies.

Tots in Tow Playgroup – Gymnastics

Children (with a favorite adult) will enjoy this hour-long program that starts with songs, rhymes and books followed by center-based activities to develop ready-for-kindergarten skills.
