When it comes to raising triplets, coffee is at the top of the list when it comes to necessities. If you’ve followed along on my instagram, then you know I have had plenty of coffee fails when it comes to brewing it myself at home. Spills. Explosions. Burns. Bad Tasting. All the things. It wasn’t until recently that I found the perfect solution.

I’ve always enjoyed the ease of using a Keurig®, but I wasn’t fond of having to have yet another kitchen appliance on the counter for when I wanted to have brew more than one cup at once.
The Keurig® K-Duo EssentialsTM Coffee Maker is designed to not only brew K-Cup® pods, but also ground coffee! There it is. The perfect solution I was looking for. Easy for my day-to-day coffee and easy enough to transition into making coffee for a few friends or you know, the day I need more than one cup before 9am!
Things I love about the Keurig® K-Duo EssentialsTM Coffee Maker
- I love that it brews K-Cup® pods and ground coffee! Dual purpose is very convenient.
- Not only does it come with a 12-cup glass carafe, it comes with a heating plate to help keep your coffee warm.
- It is very easy to use. For a single cup, place your mug on the drip tray and insert a K-Cup® pod in the K-Cup® pod holder. Press the OZ button, then select your brew size. To make a carafe, fill the 60 oz. single reservoir to the max fill line. Insert a 12-cup flat bottom paper filter into the filter basket and add the desired amount of ground coffee.
