Smoothies are a daily routine in our household. As a busy mom, they’re an easy go-to lunch for myself and a healthy nutritious snack for the girls. With that being said, I am not great at making them at home. I mean what is it about smoothies and salads that are just so much better when someone else makes them?!
My go-to smoothie spot for YEARS has always been Smoothie King. When I lived near the location on 23, they used to know me because every Friday (and randomly here and there), I was there ordering my $5 smoothie. Typically my go-to was the Angel Food Smoothie. This smoothie is made from a heavenly concoction of strawberries, bananas, nonfat milk, and Turbinado and has that perfect consistency! When I was pregnant with the girls, I always ordered the Premamaยฎ smoothie. The Premama Smoothie, blended with @premamawellness prenatal multivitamin, whole fruits, and organic spinach! I couldn’t get enough of it! I wonder if this is where the girl’s love of smoothies comes from.
