• Each meal comes with fresh, pre-portioned ingredients and recipe cards -everything you need to cook a delicious meal from scratch.

I’ve bought the meals from a few different Kroger stores around Central Ohio. Each store was a bit different, whether it was the display or selections. I think the Morse Rd./Karl Rd. location had the biggest variety. Whichever store you visit, you can’t miss the green sign!

The first meal I tried

I went with an oven kit for my first meal. I felt like it was the easiest, next to the ready-to-eat meals and I didn’t have a ton of time. I was correct. This couldn’t have been easier to make and honestly, I still can’t belive this flavorful dish came out of my kitchen!

I love that each meal comes with pre-portioned ingredients and recipe cards. The oven-ready kits even come with a pan to bake them in. It makes it incredibly easy to get a fresh and delicious meal on the table. All you do is unpackage everything and follow the directions. Seriously, it doesn’t get much easier than that!

At times there will be ingredients that are on the recipe card that aren’t included. However, it will be simple things like milk, water, flour, salt, etc. Typically, even if you don’t consider yourself a “cook” – you’re going to have these items on hand.

Watch how easy it was to make…

This meal only took minutes to prepare, which was just mixing a few things together and 20-ish minutes to bake.

The final product

Yep. This is real life. I made this. I know, I surprised myself, too. This was incredibly delicious. It was a simple combination of perfectly paired textures that packed a ton of flavor. Each bite seriously made me want to take another one. My husband and I both loved this dish.

Another quick meal I made for lunch

This was one of their traditional meal kits – Hot Honey Chicken & Cheddar Grits. It takes a few more steps than the oven ready kit but still wasn’t more than I could handle. Plus, I actually learned how to make the perfect green beans in less than ten minutes and how to pan-fry crispy chicken! That is something I really like about the traditional kits – you’re actually learning skills you can use in the future. Bonus that everything is pre-packaged and pre-portioned because the mess is minimal. If you’ve ever seen me cook, you know I never make a meal that is minimal in the mess department!

I’m telling you – this is such an easy solution to take the stress out of dinner! I think we all deserve that, right? [#2020] Oh, and check your Kroger app because I scored a $3 off coupon!

PS – While our holiday gatherings will look a little different this year, Kroger still has you covered with all the new products and fresh favorites to make your holiday celebrations on-trend, delicious and easy—no matter how many loved ones are around the dinner table.
