They’ve taken all the planning out of it for you.

You might already know this, but I love using the Kroger website to find recipes. I use it weekly! They’re delicious, easy to make, and you can add ingredients to the shopping list right from the website. It makes weekly menu planning and party planning a breeze. It is SO organized. Two of my favorite go-to recipes that are PERFECT for game day are Slow-Cooker Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and Loaded Slow Cooker Queso. They’re both crowd-pleasers – my husband and girls eat them both up!

Loaded Slow Cooker Queso

Packed with ground beef, three different cheeses and chili beans, this loaded queso dip is the perfect appetizer for your team to huddle around on game day. Plus, if you have kids, it’s something they can help make! The girls love dumping the ingredients in the crockpot.

Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

The heat of Sriracha pairs perfectly with the sweetness of honey, making these chicken wings a guaranteed WOW! You can always add a bit more honey or sriracha, depending on your level of spice preference. The recipe below is from the Kroger website. The only thing I did differently was grill the wings for a few minutes when I took them out of the crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds fresh chicken wings
  • 1 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1⁄3 cup Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1⁄4 cup plus 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons lime zest

Directions

  • Step 1: Set oven to Broil. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with foil; place a large rectangular wire rack on top; spray both with cooking spray.
  • Step 2: Place chicken pieces in a single layer on rack; sprinkle 1 tsp. salt and pepper over chicken. Broil 3” from heat 10-12 minutes or until browned, turning halfway through broiling time.
  • Step 3: Spray 3 ½-4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken in slow cooker. In small bowl mix hot sauce, ¼ cup honey, and garlic until well blended. Pour over chicken, stir to coat.
  • Step 4: Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours. Remove with tongs or slotted spoon; discard cooking liquid. In small bowl, mix sour cream, lime juice, zest and remaining honey and salt until well blended.
  • Step 5: Serve chicken wings with lime sour cream and additional hot sauce, if desired.
