New Playground at Headley Park in Gahanna: A Fun and Exciting Adventure for Kids!

Discover an array of climbing structures and unique features such as mirrors and giant magnatiles designed to ignite children’s creativity. With two play areas tailored for ages 2-5 and 5-12, your kids will have a blast exploring both sections. Although the swings and playground equipment are not shaded, the picnic tables offer an excellent source of protection from the sun’s rays.

Here are my random thoughts in no particular order…..

💛Bathrooms are available on-site, and there is ample parking available.
💛The park is adjacent to a road, separated by a sidewalk. However, the road leads back to the parking lot and during our visit, we only saw one car. Additionally, the speed limit is slow, so it shouldn’t be a concern
💛 While the play structures and swings don’t offer much shade, there is a covered area with picnic tables available when you need a break.
💛 Soccer fields if you need a bit of running space!
💛 The playground is all mulch.
💛There are plenty of swings available, including a ‘mommy + me’ swing and an ADA-accessible swing.💛 Just a heads up, reaching the second level of the main play structure requires climbing up a net-like structure. It took Riley a few attempts, but she finally got the hang of it.
💛 I love the attention to detail in the structures – from the scavenger hunt to the magnatile-looking objects, spinning mirrors, music area, and varied textures.
