Kitty Bubble Cafe Opens in Worthington Area

Okay, okay, okay. Kitty Bubble Cafe is a DREAM for cat and coffee lovers alike. On one side, you’ll find coffee, bubble tea, macarons, and eventually wine and beer, with another a cat lounge filled with adoptable cats ready to mingle and play with all. Still, in their soft opening, further details will be coming out, but we love everything about it for now.

To start, I enjoyed a lovely lavender oat latte perfectly made in the cutest cat cup. I didn’t try any other drinks, but I had my eye on the Catnip (Strawberry Matcha Latte) and the Purrty Rose (Lychee rose limeade) for next time. We also ordered a few of their macarons (locally made by Mjomii) which were marvelous- a slight crunch with an overall chewy texture and yummy flavor. The taro cream was my favorite, and keeping with my lavender theme, I could have eaten a few more of the milk & lavender.

Since this is their soft opening, they highly recommend reservations, which were relatively easy to make. It looks like they allow 16 people in the cat lounge at a time. You can see how many spots are left when you make a reservation, which are on the hour for one hour at a time. There is another option for more of an all-day pass and further on – month-to-month memberships.

Our reservation was at four, and right on time, they called our name and gave us a few house rules to follow. Simple enough. We walked in, one party and a time, and were instantly greeted by Popsicle Stick – a super cute and vocal cat!

Once we were inside, the greetings didn’t stop. The cats are super friendly and willing to play, but they also let you know when they want to rest. Nicely, of course. Emerson mentioned how she wanted to bring them all home multiple times! I was nervous about bringing her as she is a high-energy almost four-year-old, but she did great, and the cats were playful with her the entire time. We both loved it equally, maybe her even more.

During the hour you are there, you can enjoy your drink, pick out a few toys, chill next to a cat or two or just sit and watch these cuties explore this gorgeous space. But don’t forget – they’re all adoptable and looking for fur-ever homes.

I can’t wait to see what they do with the space and how they continue to help our cat friends live their best lives.
