Visit WOSU Public Media on February 11th, 2023 to experience meaningful service learning opportunities focused around being a friendly neighbor, as well as a meet and greet with Daniel Tiger and Katarina Kittycat.
Service activities include:
- Decorate and assemble Kindness Boxes to be donated to our unhoused neighbors at The Van Buren Center.
- Read in our Family Book Nook.
- Watch Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
- Meet and Greet with Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat.
Families are encouraged, although not required, to donate a new or gently used children’s book for the Van Buren Center. Need book donation ideas? Check out suggestions and/or purchase from our online wish list.
This in-person event is free, but advance registration is required. There are two time-slots. You can register here.
