Updated May 21, 2024

If you’re looking for a fun and exciting playground for your kids to explore, the brand new Playground at Perry Park in Worthington, Ohio is the perfect spot! This playground offers four different main features, including two separate playgrounds designed for different age groups, as well as climbing ropes and swings. It’s a great place for young children, as it provides a safe and secure environment where they can challenge themselves and explore to their heart’s content.

Address: 2300 Collins Dr., Worthington, OHย 43085
There is a parking lot with TONS of parking.

This playground is great for younger children, particularly those in the preschool age range. It provides a perfect balance of opportunities for exploration and challenges that are appropriate for their age, while ensuring a safe play environment.

When we were there, they had a fence up because they were putting down grass. It won’t be there forever, which does mean you will be open right next to the parking lot. Unlike Selby Park, if kiddos do run – it’s towards a slower parking lot vs. main roads! Update: May 21, 2024 – The grass is down (artificial) and the fences are down! LOOKS GREAT!

The swings at the playground are a blast! There are two two-person swings, a saucer swing, a single swing, and an infant swing. Our personal favorite was the two-person swings. I loved swinigng on them with the girls!

The slide area of the playground was a hit with the girls. It features three levels of slides, including one that ends flat on the ground, providing a safe landing for kids.

Throughout the playground, there are numerous exciting climbing features to explore. Inside the playground designed for older kids, there are two ropes that need to be climbed to reach the top, which may seem intimidating at first. However, once the kids figured it out and felt confident, they conquered their initial hesitation and couldn’t stop climbing! These ropes lead up to the big slide, which adds to the excitement and adventure of the playground.

They girls couldn’t get enough of the climbing ropes. I loved that they were a bit sturdy, which gave them more confidence to try them out.

An added convenience at this location is the availability of restrooms, which is right on the other side of the climbing ropes! There are also soccer fields (maybe stay away on Saturday mornings), and towards the back it looked like a ninja course. We didn’t make it over, but we will next time for sure.
