Get Ready for Two Unforgettable Evenings of Music and Fun at Popcorn Pops 2023

Are you looking for a family-friendly event to enjoy this summer? Look no further than the 2023 Popcorn Pops family concerts! This annual event is perfect for children ages 3-12 and features two exciting concerts packed with music and fun.

The first concert, “Celebrate Youth!”, takes place on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 7pm. The concert is aimed to delight and inspire our youngest audiences while also building their knowledge and curiosity about the world of music. This concert will feature a performance in collaboration with Momentum and spotlight many other youth organizations from around Columbus.

The second concert, “SuperHEROES!” is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2023, at 7pm. It’s a bird…it’s a plane…it’s music! Join forces with the CSO and dress like your favorite superhero for an action-packed musical performance of your favorite superhero stories. You’ll hear the magical musical powers of our CSO musicians as they come together to perform themes from blockbuster movies, TV shows, and even some famous ballets.

Both concerts will be held at the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion in the Columbus Commons. Pre-concert activities start at 5:30pm and include free carousel rides, balloon artists, instrument petting zoos, airbrush tattoos, and more. Tickets are on sale now, so don’t wait to get yours! Adults can purchase tickets for $12.50, children for $8, and kids 2 and under are free. You can purchase them here.

  • Parking is available at the Columbus Commons Main Parking Garage, located at 55 East Rich Street, just steps away from the Commons. Parking is $10 for the Picnic with the Pops series.  Both cash or credit is accepted at the pay-on-foot machines, but only credit is accepted at the exit gate machine. Don’t forget to keep your parking validation with you after you pay, so you can enter it into the machine at the exit gate (the paid validation will pop the gate upon exit).
