Are you ready to eat, drink, and celebrate for a good cause? I know I am! The annual Eat Up Columbus event is back, and I couldn’t be more excited! Tickets for the 2023 event are now available, and I’m already counting down the days until August 26th!
This year’s event will be hosted on the rooftop of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, overlooking the beautiful Scioto River and the Columbus skyline. What a perfect setting for a night of mingling, music, and delicious food from some of Columbus’ best restaurants!
Eat Up Columbus is more than just a fun night out. It’s a chance to celebrate community, collaboration, and changemakers in Columbus, all while raising funds to support Freedom a la Cart’s work to empower survivors of human trafficking. By attending this event, you can be a part of the effort to make a real difference in the lives of survivors.
Let’s not forget about the dress code! Guests are encouraged to wear white, symbolizing the blank canvas that survivors are given when they embark on their journey of freedom and self-sufficiency. So not only will you be having a great time, but you’ll also be making a statement and showing your support for this important cause.
So what’s included in the ticket? Well, there are two types of tickets available: mingle tickets and tables. Mingle tickets ($175) include admittance to the event, hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants, two drink tickets plus a signature cocktail, a take-home gift, and validation for free parking. Tables ($1,650) include all of the above, plus a reserved 8-person table, an Eat Up event t-shirt, and name designation on the table and event program.
And don’t worry about dinner โ this year’s event will embrace a soirรฉe theme, with delicious hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants circulating throughout the night. And of course, there will be plenty of drinks available, with two drink tickets provided for each attendee and additional drinks available for purchase.
The excitement doesn’t end with food and drinks! Eat Up Columbus 2023 will also feature both a silent and live auction, with all proceeds directly benefiting Freedom a la Cart’s workforce development program and supportive services for survivors of human trafficking. No need to worry about the weather! Eat Up Columbus 2023 will take place rain or shine, and a secure indoor location is reserved in case of inclement weather. And, to make the most of your evening, event guests can even tour the museum from 6:30-7:30 p.m. before the festivities kick off!
