If you’re a fan of great beer, live music, and a relaxing outdoor atmosphere, mark your calendars for a unique event happening on September 8th! Seventh Son Brewing Co. is teaming up with Friends of Columbus & Franklin County Metro Parks to bring you an unforgettable pop-up bar experience called “Field Trip.”
This special one-night-only event will take place at Blendon Woods Metro Park from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023
What’s on the Menu?
Prepare your taste buds for a treat! At the “Field Trip” event, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a variety of beverages, including Seventh Son’s signature beers (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available), Kitty Paw hard seltzer, and wine. To accompany your drinks, there will be live music provided by a talented string duo from Chamber Brews, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening in nature. And don’t worry about going hungry โ the Elevated Woodfire Pizza food truck will be serving up delicious slices to satisfy your cravings.
Where and How to Join?
The magical evening will be set up at Camp Sugarbush on the south end of Blendon Woods Metro Park. You can access the site through the Day Camp entrance located at 5364 Cherry Bottom Rd. For your comfort, there will be picnic tables and chairs for seating, charming string lights to set the mood, and outdoor gear provided by Public Lands to enhance the experience.
“We’re taking the taproom to the woods, and we’re thrilled to offer this unique opportunity,” shared Collin Castore, co-owner of Seventh Son Brewing. He added, “Blendon Woods is one of the stunning Metro Parks in central Ohio, and this partnership lets us enjoy fantastic beer in a serene outdoor space. We’re hoping to repeat this experience in the future.”
Ticket Options:
There are two types of tickets available for the event:
- Standard Ticket – $45: This ticket includes two Seventh Son beers or Kitty Paw beverages, a trail mix snack, a donation to Friends of Metro Parks, and gratuity.
- Designated Driver Ticket – $20: If you’re the designated driver for the evening, this ticket covers one non-alcoholic beer, one bottle of water, a donation to Friends of Metro Parks, and gratuity.
