Buff City Soap is a unique store that’s all about making your skin super happy with their handmade, plant-based products. The best part? Their products are free from harsh chemicals and animal fats, so you can feel good about using them. But it’s not just the quality that sets them apart – their soaps come in a rainbow of playful colors and delicious scents that make every shower or bath a luxurious experience. Trust us, you’ll have a hard time choosing just one favorite! Who knew soap could be so fun and exciting?
When I first popped into their shop in Corydon, Indiana a couple of weeks ago, I was like, “whoa, this place is the bomb!” The store had this super cool vibe with all kinds of colors and smells that made me feel like I was walking into a candy store for my nose. They’ve got everything from soap bars to foaming hand soaps and bath bombs to shower products and laundry stuff. Seriously, it’s a smorgasbord of sudsy goodness! One of my favorite products is the Narcissist Body Butter. It’s definitely a Buff City Soap must-try! The fragrance is a perfect balance of sweet and earthy, blending the fruity goodness of raspberry and peach with the warmth of patchouli and sandalwood. And the best part? It’s made with simple ingredients that won’t harm your skin. Plus, it feels amazing when you apply it!
One of the most exciting parts of my visit was discovering that kids have the opportunity to paint their own bath bombs in the store, and the best part is it’s free!
I just knew I had to take my girls to the Easton location as soon as we got back from our trip – they are totally obsessed with bath bombs and painting, so it was the perfect combo! As soon as we arrived at the Easton location, my girls were just as thrilled as I was!
First, we took a leisurely stroll around the store, taking in all the sights and smells before making a beeline for the bath bomb painting station. The super friendly staff gave them each a bath bomb that was perfect for painting. They were so excited to create their own unique bath bombs, and the half-size bomb was perfect for their little hands to paint. With a shared palette of paint and a whole lot of creativity, they set to work painting their own unique designs on the bath bombs. Watching their faces light up as they painted and created their own unique designs was just the best thing ever. I mean, who knew bath bombs could be this much fun?
After they finished painting, we took our time exploring the store AGAIN and taking in all the delicious scents – and we even picked up a few new soaps! It was such a fun, relaxing, and creative experience. We all left feeling happy!
I want to mention that I’ve heard different things from different stores, so the details may vary. One store said they offer free painting with no strings attached, while another store said it’s available with any purchase. Either way, it’s an awesome opportunity to get creative and have fun. And let’s be real, it’s hard to resist picking up a few items while you’re there!
