Wednesday

  • Mix & mingle with other fashion lovers at the launch party for Fashion Week Columbus at Copious.
  • The Columbus Zoo will be at the Family Concert at the Alum Creek Park North Amphitheater.
  • The Shazzbots are bringing cool, quirky, kid rock music to all the children of the cosmos to the Delaware Library at 6:30.

Thursday

Friday

  • Gym Skills has Stay & Play in the morning. Kids can swing on the bars, jump into the foam pit, walk on the balance beam and more.
  • Head to the Westerville AAA (660 North State St., Westerville, OH 43082) from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM to get your car seat check. AAA is partnering with Safe Kids Central Ohio and Columbus Public Health to offer free car and booster seat checks for all local parents and caregivers.
  • Calling all pirates and princesses! Head to Everal Barn to join in on a fun hunt for treasures, play island games and create notes in a bottle. The cost for Fun Fridays is $5. Starts at 10:00.
  • Reading on a summer day can be lots of fun! Join KidX Club at Polaris and listen to live story time with characters from some of your favorite books. Bring a book to donate to a local book drive and receive a free treat!
  • Join Yelp Columbus and dance for Orlando! $5 (minimum) entry donation suggested, 100% goes to the Orlando. Free craft beer. Free wine from Camelot Cellars. Hot Chicken Takeover, 10% of sales for Orlando. Rime Time Curiously Crafted Pops, % of sales for Orlando. Damn, Girl DJs. Must be 21+ and RSVP!!

Saturday

  • Honor Flight Pancake Breakfast takes place at American Legion Post 171 Hall on Saturday morning. An eight-year tradition, the Honor Flight Pancake Breakfast supports the Westerville community effort to honor and celebrate World War II and Korean War veterans’ service by flying them to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Veterans are provided this experience at no charge as a token of our gratitude and respect. A $6 ticket is all-you-can-eat. Don’t miss out on breakfast with your Honor Flight friends in Westerville!
  • Columbus Children’s Festival at Fred Beekman Park starts at 10:00 am! FREE admission!
  • Storybook Village, where your favorite storybook characters magically come to life, takes place on Saturday morning.. Bring your little ones to meet Rapunzel, Cinderella, Curious George, Peg + Cat, Daniel Tiger, Olivia, and other familiar characters as they roam Ohio Village and interact with children of all ages. Enjoy storytime and take advantage of early literacy and school-readiness resources.
  • Kick off summer with Pure Barre! Join them for a complimentary outdoor class at Huntington Park (behind home plate) on June 18th at 11am.
  • Zoofari, presented by Nationwide Insurance, is the Zoo’s annual, adults-only (21 and over) fundraiser featuring more than 100 central Ohio restaurants and bars serving appetizer portions of their signature dishes and specialty drinks. Guests “graze” their way through the Zoo enjoying live entertainment on multiple stages scattered throughout Zoo grounds.
  • Grove City Town Center Wine and Arts Festival takes place on Saturday at Grove City Town Center.
  • Join Cucinova for a local artist showcase in Grandview to support several local artists while they display & sell their one-of-a-kind artwork. Support Goodwill Columbus during the event. 20% of food and beverage sales from the evening will benefit their Art Studio!

Sunday

All Weekend

  • PNC Arts Alive MAC Summer Music Festival: June 14th – 19th, Spend the day at the Arts Festival to browse and buy the work of over 150 artists and craftspeople from around the country. In the evening enjoy FREE live outdoor performances. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, family and friends to the great lawn in front of the MAC for three days of music on two stages.
  • Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival takes place at Creekside! This 3-day festival in Gahanna features live entertainment, mouth-watering cuisine, amusement rides & family fun activities.
  • Columbus Pride Festival kicks off on Friday!!! Don’t miss the parade on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.!
  • Head to Marcus Theaters – Crosswoods – on  June 18 & 19 from 10 a.m. to noon for a FREE Finding Dory party to celebrate the release of the new film, in theatres June 17! Activities will include: make-your-own sea creature, prize giveaways, coloring & activity sheets, concession samples and more!
