With the holiday season here, shopping is on my brain. If you aren’t familiar, Ohio Women’s Refuge is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 to serve and be a safe haven for women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Did you know that Ohio is the fifth leading state in the nation for human trafficking? The is a great way to start making a difference.

Their mission is to empower survivors of human trafficking to build a new life of freedom and self-sufficiency. “Through offering supportive services, practical life skills, dignified jobs and workforce training, Freedom a la Cart is a place where survivors can heal, learn and grow as they prepare for full-time employment opportunities in the community.” To us – they offer boxed lunches and catering. On top of that, they currently have two campaigns going – Pies with Purpose and Cause Cookies.
Pies with Purpose
