Places to Celebrate the New Years

From fancy parties to fireworks at COSI to live concerts, there are plenty of things to do in Columbus. for New Year’s Eve. Here’s my list of some of the best places to get 2017 started off with a bang!

  1. FOOTBALL | Watch the BUCKEYES anywhere.
  2. HUBBARD GRILLE | They will have a live  DJ, along side drink specials and bottle service featured by Ultimat Vodka & Patron. They have a variety of packages ranging from $35 – $1500. Purchase tickets here.
  3. PIGSKIN BREWING | Pigskin Brewing will be having an all you can eat buffet of Gastropub favorites from 7-10PM. Included in your ticket,  you get 4 drink tickets good for beer and wine. There will be raffles, music, College Football Playoff games, shot specials and delicious craft beer that was brewed on site! Tickets range from $20-$40. Purchase them here.
  4. CAMELOT CELLARS | Join them for their 6th annual Old Hollywood New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball! The event will benefit Fashion Week Columbus, with various designers showcasing their work! You’ll be able to mix and mingle with the Fashion Week Columbus Models and see amazing Columbus fashion. Amanda Knittle Photography will be taking pictures for their Old Hollywood style photobooth, and you can even take pictures with the models. Live music will be preformed by Cortney Gail & Joey R. throughout the night.
    Hor D’oeuvres will be supplied by Aloha Strategy. Must have a mask to enter, or you can have one painted on at Camelot! Purchase your tickets here.
  5. BALBOA | Balboa and Columbus Underground invite you to join our celebration! The party starts at 9pm featuring a DJ to keep the party moving all night. A limited number of tickets are available, so make sure to get yours now. All inclusive tickets are $80 and include unlimited beer, wine, top shelf drinks and featured appetizers from the Balboa menu. Each guest will be invited to welcome in 2017 with a champagne toast at midnight and the party won’t stop until 2am.
  6. DOUBLE TREE | Doubletree by Hilton will host the first annual Black & White New Years Eve Celebration at their Worthington location. This event is for ages 30 and over. Tickets include complimentary party favors, a discounted room rate, photo booths, live TV feed from times square, midnight confetti shower and more!  Tickets range from $50 – $99.   7. FLANAGANS | Corey Chaos will be playing the best party & dance music after the Buckeyes take on Clemson at Flanagan’s Dublin. Tickets are $15 and include a champagne toast at midnight.
  8. NATALIES | Bring in the New Year in style with Teeny Tucker and her full 7 piece band for an evening of great music and celebration. Natalie’s will open for normal business at 4 pm, and seating for the New Year’s Eve Celebration will begin at 8:30 pm, with the show beginning at 10:00 pm. Of course, there will be a champagne toast (compliments of Natalie’s) at midnight, and party favors for all. Purchase tickets here for $25.
  9. THE BLUESTONE | Love and Theft, Stevie Monce, David Adam Byrnes and Cliff Cody will rock the stage and bring in the New Year at The Bluestone. They offer different packages ranging from $45 – $1500. Purchase tickets here.
  10. A & R BAR | Join Zoo Trippin’ with special guests The Worn Flints and Cadaver Dogs at A&R Bar to watch the ball drop and the world end. Presented by PromoWest Productions and CD102.5. Purchase tickets here.
  11. DAHLIA BAR AND LOUNGE | Join Dahlia Bar and Lounge in bringing in 2017 properly. Doors open at 8pm and they will have complimentary hors d’oeuvres til 10pm.   12. THREE-LEGGED MARE | The Three-Legged Mare 2nd Annual Masquerade Party will include an open bar, prime rib and turkey carving stations, small plate appetizers, a champagne toast at midnight, and music by Sonic Boom! Celebrate the new year with a little mystique at the best NYE party in the Arena District. Doors are open at 7:30 this year!
  13. SPACEBAR | Head to Spacebar’s New Year’s Eve Party to hear by The Up All Nights, INBOKEH and Tourist Trap, champagne at midnight!
  14. SKULLYS | Their New Years Eve Spectacular will include music from DJs Chuckstar and Skulldogg with a champagne toast at midnight.
  15. BIG ROOM BAR | Celebrate the new year at Big Room bar with free food, a free champagne toast at midnight and music from The Cordial Sins, Playing to Vapors, Marcus Alan Ward. Tickets are $20. Purchase them here.
  16. HYATT REGENCEY | Ring in the New Year at Hyatt Regency Columbus with beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment from Radio Tokyo, Shucking Bubba Deluxe, DJ Ant, Soul Kitch’n, Chris Logsdon, Brad Moore and DJ Marino Monaco. Make sure to get your hotel room, they include a breakfast and late check-out.  Party tickets range from $89 – $99. Hotel/VIP packages range from $379-$499. Purchase tickets here.
  17. RENAISSANCE HOTEL | New Years Eve 2017 at the Columbus Renaissance will take place in their 11,000 sq ft Ballroom (the largest in Columbus) into a high-energy dance club with top local DJs! Plus, you will be able to watch the buckeyes  on the big screens. Tickets include  6 drink tickets for beer, wine & well liquor mix drinks and hors d’oeuvres 8:30–10:30pm. General admission starts at $79.  They also offer VIP tickets, larger group rates and overnight rates.
  18. PAT & GRACIES | Pat & Gracies is now taking reservations for their New Year’s Eve and Ohio State Football party!! The party will start with cocktail hour will at 6:30pm, followed by their NYE feast  at 8pm. The game will be on all 7 of their TVs. They are offering a 4-course meal, with drink specials throughout the evening. At Midnight, Pat & Gracie’s will treat everyone with a Champagne toast!   19. UNION CAFE |  Union Cafe presents Executive Chef Ben’s annual New Year’s Eve Dinner Package. This year enjoy a Vegas Style DIVAS show while you eat featuring celebrity camp impersonations by Nina West and friends. In between numbers they will be playing the Top Videos of 2016 with VJ Ben. There are 2 dinner seatings 5:30 PM and 8 PM.   20. ARCH CITY | Join Arch City for a night of memories! From the Ohio State Buckeyes College Playoff game, to their live DJ and photo booth, it’s bound to be a great night in Columbus! They will have a champagne toast at midnight.
  21. SHERATON CAPITAL SQUARE | Join CULYP and other Professionals as we say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017!   23. EASTON | Join Easton and Chabad of Columbus for a special menorah lighting. It’s a family party with sufganiot, dreidels, raffle prizes, music, dancing and refreshments!
