Farm Fresh Cooking – Spring – You want to support local farmers so you’ve signed up for a CSA or committed to shop farmers’ markets. But what do you do with what you see?  Rachel Tayse, urban farmer and seasonal eating expert at Harmonious Homestead, will help you learn to love what’s local and fresh. You’ll start class with a CSA share and decode what’s in the box. Rachel will identify each item, sharing how to store, prepare, and serve it. Then, we’ll cook three courses together of basic recipes you can use throughout the spring. Farm Fresh Cooking is offered at the beginning of the summer and autumn as a series to inspire and expand your ability to cook seasonally.

DIY Essential Oil Playdough – Join Jodi from Peppermint and Grapefruit at Smidge and Pinch, as you use essential oils to make playdough for this Mommy and Me event. Workshop fee $15 for 3 balls of playdough. Tickets available through Eventbrite link. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to this event.

High Tea At Tabletop Cafe – Treat yourself and some friends to an evening of indulgence with a Tea Party and games.  The tea party includes a full menu of cheese plate, hors d’oeuvres, finger sandwiches, dessert, and all the tea you can drink. It’s All About YEAST Class – Patrick Gangwer is back agin to shed light on those mysterious and wonderful little critters – Yeast. Patrick is the Head Brewer and co-owner of Kindred Artisan Ales and his yeast knowlege is AMAZING! Dangerous Women Create – Celebrate Women’s History Month and the creativity of women. Join Creative Babes at CMA for an inspired evening hosted by Creative Babes and CMA for a pop-up reception and your chance to create TOGETHER. Check out the Creative Babes creations inspired by women artists from CMA’s collection including Allison Saar, Maya Lin, Melissa Pinney, Carmen Winant, Isabel Toledo, and Mickalene Thomas. Cash bar! Plus participate in a collaborative collage project inspired by A Dangerous Woman: Subversion and Surrealism in the Art of Honoré Sharrer, and Carmen Winant’s “Pictures of Women Working. Thursday evenings are “Pay What You Want” admission. Swiner Social, No. 2 – James Anderson of Anderson Farms and Ray Ray’s Hog Pit is collaborating with Chef Bill Glover of Gallerie Bistro & Bar to create a spectacular, swine-centric, multi-course dinner features locally sourced, sustainably grown cuisine; including, heritage breed hogs from Anderson Farms (Granville). Voices for Choices – Join them for their 1st Annual Voices for Choices Fundraiser to support CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence. This charitable event will take place between 5:00-8:00. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door, but all donations are welcome. Food will be provided as well as a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Any and all are welcome so feel free to invite friends and family.

Junk Bash: Spring Market – Junk Bash is a vintage boutique with a party atmosphere featuring a union of all things rusty, dusty, handmade, awesome. In addition to great shopping visit Elbow Grease, a show within a show, featuring the latest in DIY supplies, tools, products and more! Admission is $8 per day and can be purchased online until March 22, 2017. There is a $2.00 service charge per transaction (not per ticket). Ages 14 and under are free. Tickets will be mailed to you prior to the show. We stop mailing tickets 10 days prior to the show at which time, any advanced ordered tickets will be available at Will Call, located at Cardinal Hall. Tickets are nonrefundable. MojoFlo’s Leading Ladies 3 – LEADING LADIES 3 is a celebration of all things WOMAN!

Cooking with Queens: Reba’s Tex-Mex Kitchen – Spend an evening with local female impersonator and Kitchen Queen Panzie Bloom! You may have seen have a drag queen on stage, but have you ever seen one in a kitchen?  It’s almost Reba McEntire’s birthday and they’re celebrating by cooking some of her favorite recipes. Reba will be portrayed by Panzie Bloom and along with singing you some of her classic hits from over the years, she will also be preparing some of her favorite dishes for you! $10 admission gets you a seat at a table, chips & salsa and some sweet tea. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Post Card Writing at Seventh Son – Join EColumbus as they rally together to voice their concerns to local and state representatives about the environmental issues impacting us here in Columbus and nationwide. Breaking Ground: Garden & Litter Clean Up – Spring has sprung! Time to get out in the gardens and to address the litter in the streets.  Litter Teams will kick off from Weinland Park (the park behind the school) Shelter, where Michael will have tools, maps & coffee. Garden Teams can head straight to 4th Street Farms to meet Woody to work on spring bed prep, chipping the paths & rotating compost soil for spring. Dress to get dirty. Wear closed-toed shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Everyone can help! They have tools and refreshments. Can’t stay or not a gardener? Bring a book or a box of them for the Little Free Libraries in Weinland Park. We could use more kid books 📚

Clue Mystery Dinner – Granville Inn presents Live Action Clue!  Participate in a killer good time with an interactive “Clue” game and mystery dinner. Local Brunch Benefit for Blessings in a Backpack – Some of Lucky’s Market Columbus favorite vendors have gotten together to create a locally sourced brunch! All money goes to support Blessings in a Backpack, which helps provide food for kids in food insecure homes in Columbus. Local eggs from Copia Farm, Gluten-Free Waffles from Lopaus Point, Salsa from Ridiculously Good Salsa
and Coffee from Crimson Cup Coffee. $5 a plate, and don’t forget to bring cash- all money goes directly to Blessings in a Backpack!
