While summer is coming to an end, it’s not over quite yet and if you’re one of the lucky {later starting} schools — you might be in for some last minute deals! During the month of August, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is offering FREE train rides for kids.
So, how does it work? For every one (1) adult coach, all-day pass purchased, one (1) child (ages 12 and under) coach pass is free. {Tickets range from $15 – $35 per person.}This offer is ONLY valid on the National Park Scenic Excursion on Wednesdays- Fridays from August 1 to August 30 and is not valid with any other promotion or discount.
“The National Park Scenic excursion is a 3.5 hour round trip through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Sit back and relax as the train weaves through Cuyahoga Valley and races along with the rushing Cuyahoga River. On board, you wills see a variety of wildlife including an eagles nest, deer and other habitats. The main, staffed boarding stations are: Rockside Station, Peninsula Depot, or at Akron Northside Station.”
