Okay, so what is this weather!? I guess I am not surprised because the beautiful fall like temperatures was only a part of our typical “False Fall” we have each year. Ha! I won’t complain about the high temps because soon enough we’re going to be covered in snow and freezing!!
To keep you and the kiddos cool, a few of our local splash pads are extending their summer hours. Woo hoo! I suggest double checking to make sure they’re open before you load up the kids, but per social media, websites and phone calls – – hese are the ones helping to keep us cool.

When I called they said it will stay open until the first freeze. She did say it was a bit lower, but I think she was referencing that because it was dinner time and Brio is right there. During the day, I think it is at normal spraying level?

Worthington
Their website says, “Our splash pad will continue to be open (weather permitting) 10:00 A.M. โ 4:00 P.M. until the overnight lows start to dip, typically the end of September. This is free for those that are 2019 summer members and $1 for all others.” I tried calling, but they weren’t able to answer. Will call back and verify this info!

Downtown – Bicentennial Park
The Scioto Mile Fountain operates every day April through October, though it may need to be shut down from time to time for emergency maintenance or due to severe weather conditions such as lightning or strong winds. Visit Facebook page for fountain closure updates.
