It’s that time of year when you start searching for all the fun indoor places to take your kids and while Midwesterns love to eat ice cream all year round, including wintertime (raises hand), Graeter’s might not be your first thought. However, it should be at the top of your list! Why? They’ve moved their Bethel Rd. location down the street and it includes a brand new play area – perfect for indoor play.
The play area is perfect for children 9 and younger (per suggestion on their website). It features multiple slides, chip wheelies and a rock climbing wall, a ball shooter and more. Plenty of room to play!
We went a few months ago (remember this is an old blog post, look at the girls – so tiny!) because we needed out of the house and heard they had an area for smaller kids. While we did spend a good amount of time there, it was because it wasn’t too busy! The smaller kids area is nice, but there isn’t much to do and they were more interested in crawling all around with the big kids. If it would have been super busy, might have a been a little dangerous! However, now that they are walking and used to the craziness of each other – I wouldn’t have a problem with them exploring more. Overall, I would say it is perfect for the 3-6 year olds.
Don’t forget the best part – you get a delicious scoop (or two) of ice cream after you’re done playing!!
