One of my favorite parts of the summer is filling our weekends with local festivals. We are lucky in Columbus to have so many great ones each weekend. If you thought the summer was dwindling down with things to do, you were wrong! While there are many happening this month, I narrowed it down to my top nine!

Dublin Irish Festival
- Dates: August 3, 4, 5
- Times: Friday 4PM – Midnight, Saturday, 11Am – Midnight, Sunday 11AM – 9PM
- Location: Coffman Park, 5600 Post Rd, Dublin, Ohio
- Cost: Cost: $7 – $25. Children 12 and under are FREE. Seniors 60+, Military, Students (with a valid I.D.) – $12 (onsite at the gate only). Tickets can also be purchased for $10 each (CASH ONLY) at the following Giant Eagle stores (May 25-Aug. 2): Perimeter (Dublin), Liberty (Powell), Polaris (Lewis Center), Hayden (Hilliard), Sawmill (Columbus), Britton Parkway (Hilliard), Grove City, Kingsdale (Columbus), Westerville and Grandview Yards (Columbus). Free admission Sunday before 11 a.m. with donation of a non-perishable food item benefiting the Dublin Food Pantry.

All Ohio Balloon Festival
- Dates: August 9, 10, 11
- Times: Thursday 5 PM – 10PM, Friday 2PM – 10PM, Saturday 2PM – 10PM
- Location:Union County Airport-Mrt, 15000 Weaver Road, Marysville, OH 43040
- Cost: General admission – $10 Weekend Pass + addition cost for VIP and closer seating at higher price, kids 10 and under are FREE! Parking is $5 (exact change appreciated). Ticket sales at the gate are CASH ONLY. An ATM is available on-site. KIDZ CITY admission $10, all you can jump! Purchase tickets here.

- CrestFest is a South Clintonville Street Party with the goal of bringing the South Clintonville neighborhood together for a party and give the Kids a fun day of street play, art and activities!

Columbus Summer Wine Festival
- Date: August 25
- Times: 12 PM – 10 PM
- Location: Columbus Commons
- Cost: Admission starts at $25 and will include samplings, entertainment, and access to the festival grounds.

Greek Festival
- Dates: August 31 through September 3
- Times: Fri & Sat: 11am to Midnight, Sunday: Noon to Midnight, Monday: 11am to 7pm
- Location: The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. 555 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215
- Cost: Adults: $5.00, Sr. Citizens: $4.00, Kids Under 12: Free, Admission is valid for the entire weekend!
